Suzy Sampson is an Actor, Director and Producer born in Wellington New Zealand and trained at the London Academy of Performing Arts and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, TVI Studios in Los Angeles and the Stella Adler Academy in New York.

d31f84d7b1ee41dfa88cbd6286f80cf4With more than 20 years experience in Theatre, Film, TV and Radio Suzy has worked in London, Melbourne, Sydney, Singapore, Hong Kong, Prague, Auckland Wellington and the Bay of Plenty.

Suzy is the  founder and a Trustee of Twice as Good Productions Theatre Company Charitable Trust. She is also the Artistic Director of TaG Drama Workshops for Kids.

Prior to attending Drama School in the UK Suzy trained as a school teacher and is past recipient of the New Zealand Times Teacher of the Year Award. She was also worked in Marketing and Promotions for EMI Music Company in the UK

On her return to NZ after more than 2 decades of living in London, Sydney and Hong Kong, Suzy established the first open air Shakespeare Performances at Te Puna Quarry in the Bay of Plenty  – see http://www.summershakespeare.com

Suzy was also Show Director for Fabulous Threads and Theatre’s Production of Butterflies of the Night in April 2015 in which she also played the role of Madame La Belle Rose Butterflies of the Night

Stylist and Set Designer

Heidi Ellicott O’Donnell grew up in Tauranga then spent 23 years in Auckland before returning home to the Bay with her family and Russell Terrier a few years ago.Heidi established BeScene in12631535_10207399090008873_3126260550062182271_n (1) 2011  after 6 years of working as a freelance stylist, where Heidi consulted with designers and homestaging companies and styled projects for them. BeScene specialises in all aspects of interior styling; event settings for weddings, preparing  and styling homes for sale, colour consulting, floral styling and interior design. Recently Heidi was responsible for the styling of the set, props and the front of house areas of Twice as Good’s open air Shakespeare productions of A Midsummers Night Dream and As You Like It at Te Puna Quarry  and Judith Bell’s Fabulous Threads and Theatre production of Butterflies of the Night in Mount Maunganui, where she transformed an aeroplane hanger into a magical butterfly garden and a french cabaret club.

Heidi  believes that everyone should live, work and entertain in an environment that reflects who they (the clients) are, what their tastes are and how they live. Heidi also believes that it shouldn’t cost the earth to create beautiful spaces.  By  working with what the client has and enhancing the environment Heidi can show her clients how to have a home they will be proud of.
